The contents of this course is designed to provide students a
advanced and practical experience of the processes and molecular mechanisms of aging and neurodegenerative diseases as well as address the cellular and pharmacological therapies for possible treatments.

Activities will be developed in terms of hours and non-contact in both classes’
lectures, conferences (to deepen the contents indicated), preparation of seminars and activities practices. All this will be subject to a thorough and detailed discussion by teachers and students, and where capacity is measured criticism of the same. Besides the practical activities, it will be carried out the design and planning of experiments and projects as well as the interpretation of the results. The collective and individual tutoring will be a good tool for guiding the student in the development of the course.

It was highly appreciated the active participation of students in classes, discussions and work group. It would be evaluated critically and organizational capacity both in planning and conducting seminars and practical tasks. It will take into account, the appropriate managing of language, as well as the capability for resolution of problems.
