3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

1-     General issues in scientific communication. Types of communication: spoken and written communication. Characteristics and strategies for scientific communication in a globalised scientific world.

2-     Communication in scientific meetings and conferences. Lectures, presentations and posters.

3-     The scientific article: characteristics and types. The structure of a scientific article. Author's guidelines in journals.

4-     Journals impact. Bibliometrics.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

  • Lectures and discussion in the whole group
  • Learning activities in small groups
  • e-learning through ILIAS (UJA e-learning web)
  • Assignments:  written essays and practical work.
