3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

The Business Administration module aims to:

      - Equip students with a thorough grounding in the concepts, methods and techniques of business administration and operations management and apply tehcniques to adopt it correctly.

     - Provide students with a sound understanding of the content and scope of business administration and operations management, focusing in particular on the important role of enterprises and entrepreneurs play in the current situation.

     - Allow student to be able to distinguish the different kinds of firms that exist in Spain and choose the most suitable juridical form depending on its characteristics.

    -  Go into the managerial functions and strategies in depth and enhance students to put them into practice.

    - Know technologies to take the best decisions in the managerial area

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

For exchange students: teaching support, materials, seminar papers and exams in English. For regular Spanish students the default teaching language will be Spanish. Exchange international students can electively join regular courses in Spanish whenever they wish.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Practical and Theoretical Examination paper; For exchange students: An assignment, no more than 7000 words, combined with a presentation.
