This course is focused on the Computer Architecture. The main
lessons of the course are:
Lesson 1: Introduction: Computer Performance, Benchmarks and
Amdahl's Law
Lesson 2: Pipeline and scalar processors. Performance Issues
in Pipelining
Lesson 3: Superscalar processors
Lesson 4: Very long instruction word processors
Lesson 5: Vector processor
Lesson 6: Architectures parallel
Lesson 7: System Interconnects

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
Assessment methodology combined with two works:
- Theoretical exam, being necessary to achieve a score of 2
points out of 4.
- Practical exam, being necessary to achieve a score of 3
points out 6 in the validation process of the practical
contents. The practical validation process consists of 3
practical exams, eachone with a score of 2 points.
