3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

The Sistemas de Percepción course strives to give a generic outlook of Computer Vision and its application in the automation of the industrial processes. The course aims to provide the required theoretical framework to use and develop computer vision algorithms for processing images in the following subjects: image enhancement and restoration, edge detection, segmentation, 2D object description and recognition. Moreover, the students will work with commercial software of Computer Vision.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

A part from the lectures and the programming work the students will develop an industrial programming project based on computer vision.

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
