4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Lecture   (Theory): Lectures in Spanish including the main theoretical concepts.   English teaching materials

Lecture   (Practice):  Practical classes (in Spanish).   English teaching materials

Seminars:   Reports focused on given issues of the program contents; oral academic   presentation of the written reports (in Spanish and English).

Tutorials   in English.

Exam   in English

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

The students must demonstrate knowledge of the theorical content by exam (60% of the final grade). For the evaluation of the knowledge of the subject will be a theoretical written exam. The student must achieve a grade equal to or higher than 5 out of 10 to pass the theoretical part.

 Is requisite the Obligatory Assistance to laboratory practices. The student must work and present a comprehensive notebook practices where answers to the questions that arise and present the results in practice sessions conducted which will be evaluated and will match 30% of the final grade. The seminar activities is 10% of the final grade

It is possible to pass the course with continuous assessment, without requiring the final theory exam as long as the performance of all academic activities: theoretical, practical and seminars and are overcome with a grade equal to or greater than 5 out of 10
