- Human genetics and population studies.
The course consists of lectures and problems. Also the course has class of problems solved by students in small groups supervised by the teacher. In addition laboratory practices of some fundamental aspects of genetics.
Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support
Students may pass the course with continuous evaluation program according to the following specifications:
- Continuous evaluation by groups of thematic units of the domain of theoretical knowledge of genetics (55.0%).
- Continuous evaluation by groups of thematic units of applying theoretical concepts to conducting series of problems and issues (35.0%).
- Active involvement, mastery and skill in laboratory techniques of Genetics and development of a laboratory notebook (10.0%).
In addition to the above specified, for students who do not pass course by continuous evaluation will be a full program final exam and also for the extraordinary calls.
