Theme 1: Theory and archaeological Methodology. 

Theme 2: The first hunter-gatherer societies. 

Theme 3: Hunter-gatherers of the Postglacial: the transition to a production economy. 

Theme 4: Origin and development of the economy of production and farmer societies. 

Theme 5: Consolidation of the economy of production and the complex societies. 

Theme 6: The aristocratic societies.

Theme 7: Pre-roman Hispania.

Theme 8: Conquest and Romanization. Republican Period.

Theme 9: Upper Empire. Political and administrative organization.

Theme 10: Upper Empire. Society and economy.

Theme 11: Lower Empire. The crisis of the city and the old model.

Theme 12: Late Antiquity. The sixth and seventh centuries.

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Course description and teaching methodology :

 

Lecture (Theory)        3          Hours per week

Seminars:                 1          Hours per week

Homework:               10        Hours per week

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

Assessment methodology: 

      1. Attendance and active participation: 10 % 

      2. Knowledge acquisition and competencies development: 40%. At the end of the course, there will be a theoretical written test.

      3. Jobs and practices developed: 50%. It will be evaluated the adequacy of theory classes to the work / activities practical proposed.

 At the begining of the course, the password required to register and access to the course on the ILIAS Virtual Platform  Teaching will be provided; this platform will be an essential  tool for supporting the learning procces of the subject.
