3. CONTENT DESCRIPTION

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Teacher: will present and explain theory and practical implications providing as much materials, obligatoriy readings and resources as necessary

Students:

1. they will make charts reflecting about psychological and social factors affecting learning process

2. They will revise different interlanguage features in several corpora

3. They will make oral presentations on diverse teaching methods

4. They will carry out obligatory readings provided by the teacher

5. They will look at bilingual and interlanguage phenomena in different media

Students with special educational needs should contact the Student Attention Service (Servicio de Atención y Ayudas al Estudiante) in order to receive the appropriate academic support

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

1. Completion of a chart about internal and external factors affecting interlanguage

2. Enummeration of examples of different interlanguage and bilingual phenomena, such as calqueing, language switch, etc.

3. Analysis of interlanguage features in different corpora

4. Elaboration of an oral presentation of a teaching method

5. Critical analysis of documentaries and films, carrying out debates if necessary

6. Written exam with short and long questions
