4. COURSE DESCRIPTION AND TEACHING METHODOLOGY

Some of the practical worok will be carried out in  a Physic and Chemist laboratory. The main aim of these practices is twofold. First, to review and build content knowledge for teaching Primary Science and second to be able to identify some practical works and good practices which could be trasnfeable to a Primary Science classroom.

5. ASSESSMENT METHODOLOGY

  • Final written exam (in English to evaluate both: teoretical and practical knowledge. Weight  60%: distributed in 30% from theoretical content and 30% from practical content.
  • Attendance at lectures, seminars, practical classroms and tutorials. Critical and actively participation in all those proposed activities  within the classroom. Weight (10%)
  • Homework and classroom reports in relation to compulsory readings and practices. Both individual and collaboratively. Weight: 30%
