Detailed Information

Detailed Breakdown of Grades:

  • First Aspect (0 to 1 point): Participation in activities proposed by the instructors throughout the semester.

  • Second Aspect (0 to 6 points): Written exam covering the theoretical and applied aspects of the subject. The contribution of this part to the final grade is contingent on scoring over 30% on the exam (i.e., obtaining more than 1.8 points if the exam is out of 6, or more than 3 points if the exam is out of 10). If this 30% minimum is not met, this part will contribute 0 points to the final grade. A continuous assessment system may also be offered to earn these 6 points throughout the semester.

  • Third Aspect (0 to 1 point): Participation in short quizzes in the theory classroom and/or computer lab proposed by the instructors throughout the semester.

  • Fourth Aspect (0 to 2 points): Exam in the computer lab. A continuous assessment system may also be offered to earn these 2 points throughout the semester.

The final grade is obtained by summing the scores from the four detailed sections above.

All grades, except for the 6-point theory exam, are retained across all exam calls within the same academic year. For the Fourth Aspect (computer lab exam), the score from the most recently taken exam will prevail.
